Homemade Magic Shell ice cream topping with Honey
that “Magically” Hardens when you pour it on your ice cream.
Makes 1 cup
1 cup Organic Coconut oil
1⁄4 cup unsweetened Raw Cocoa Powder
2-4 Tbsp Raw Organic Honey ( We prefer 5 Tbsp Honey)
2 tsp vanilla
pinch of sea salt
In a small saucepan, gently melt everything together over low heat or use a double boiler. Stir throughout to prevent burning. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
To Use: Scoop ice cream into a bowl. Drizzle the desired amount of “magic shell” over ice cream. Wait several seconds and the topping should harden. If needed place the bowl the topped ice cream into the freezer for just a few seconds to ensure it hardens completely.
Store the remaining “Magic Shell” in a cool place (not in the refrigerator).
